Covered Pot, porcelain, with flowersprays in under glaze blue. On the flaring lip of the pot is unglazed band. height 32.5 cm. late 17th century, Arita ware. Adam Malik collection. These pots were commonly used as rice containers.
ANTIQUE CERAMICS FOUND IN INDONESIA
Dish with underglaze blue decorations. On the glazed base are five "nails" or spurmarks. These Japanese dishes varying from 38 cm to 60 cm were used among others as wall decorations. Diameter 40.5 cm, 19th century.
